Glassroot Partners

Rebuilt collateral for review

The new Glassroot Method, plus six PDFs rebuilt in the current Glassroot design (draft 2). Nothing live has changed. Once you approve, each new file replaces the old one at the same glassrootpartners.com link, so anyone holding an existing link gets the new version.

Draft 2 of the six Matt and Impact Boardroom PDFs (9/25/2026):
  • Each one is redesigned to the Method's standard: the layout shows the idea. Timelines for careers, a flow for how Matt works, a calendar for the cohort, a before-and-after for the case study.
  • Matt's Harvard role is past tense everywhere ("five years"). PBS reads "Former host".
  • Serif type only for titles. All sentences and quotes are sans-serif, no italics. Photos are grayscale, matching the website.
  • No dashes, and no "room" for a meeting.
  • The bio and 3-pager now speak to company leaders, following the new bio draft. The nonprofit sheet and the two Impact Boardroom pieces stay aimed at nonprofits and funders, since that is what those programs are.

The Glassroot Method (new)

9 pages, draft 2 · replaces the 22-slide deck at glassrootpartners.com/glassrootmethodpdf once approved

What it is

  • Written from scratch on your 9/24 decisions: companies are the audience, no prices or offer terms, no nonprofit or athlete material.
  • Four steps: find what's true, write the plan with you, build what the plan calls for, and run it with you (your team takes over the day-to-day, and we stay for what comes next).
  • Pages: cover, why plans stall, steps 1-2, steps 3-4, the rules we hold to, who you work with (with the role sentence you approved), and the five-requests case with a call to action.
  • Dropped from the old deck: the benchmark percentages, the composite case study, the pillars, the two journeys, the Lenses, the 12-step Engine, the family office, foundation and CSR pages, and the stock photos.
  • Matt has not seen it. It is his method as much as yours.

Glassroot one-pager (new)

1 page · replaces the January 2026 one-pager once you and Matt approve

What it is

  • The firm leave-behind to email before or after a first call. Written for companies, with no prices.
  • Built around one grid that matches the Method: each of the four places plans stall sits above the step that prevents it, then what we do in that step, what you leave with, and who leads it. Then both of you, links to the full Method and the capabilities page, and both contacts.
  • Replaces "private counsel for CEOs and foundation leaders," the old Decide, Align, Execute steps, and the Matt-only contact line.
  • Matt's line says "Vistage Chair." His bio draft flags that title to confirm with him first.

Matt George bio

1 page · glassrootpartners.com/mattbiopdf

What changed

  • Career shown as a timeline beside the photo: 30 years as a CEO, 5 years at Harvard, now Vistage Chair and Glassroot.
  • Main column: "What leaders call him about," five numbered items (deciding under pressure, saying it out loud, the board, culture and who stays, when it goes wrong).
  • Text follows the new company-focused bio draft in your Google Doc. It closes with how Matt and you split the work at Glassroot.
  • Footer: "Bring the decision you keep moving to next week. Start with a conversation with Matt."

Matt George 3-pager

3 pages · glassrootpartners.com/matt3pagerpdf

What changed

  • Page 1: three ways to work with him (advisory, coaching, keynotes) and a career timeline.
  • Page 2: the Alignment Cycle drawn as a loop, with each arrow labeled with what breaks next. Title: "Five parts of an organization that fail together."
  • Page 3: six situations leaders bring him, then how an engagement is shaped (first a working session, then a focused first step, then the format that fits), and a short About Glassroot with the role sentence.

Matt George advisory overview

1 page · glassrootpartners.com/mattadvisorypdf

What changed

  • One left-to-right flow: what leaders bring him (their words), how he works (five steps), what you get (five documents).
  • New headline: "Advice for decisions with a lot riding on them."
  • A credential strip (30+ years, 5 years at Harvard, 150+ coaching relationships, Vistage Chair) and a navy band showing how an engagement runs.

Fractional strategy leadership (nonprofit advisory)

3 pages · glassrootpartners.com/nonprofitadvisorpdf

What changed

  • Page 1: the four places funders get stuck, and a three-part diagram of who brings what (you, us, the specialists).
  • Page 2: four areas of work, and a split panel: what we do not do (legal, tax, compliance) beside what we do instead.
  • Page 3: the three phases as a timeline, who we work alongside, and the next step.
  • Body still says "your fractional Chief Strategy Officer," as the original did. Your call whether that stays.

Impact Boardroom flyer

1 page · glassrootpartners.com/impactboardroomflyer

What changed

  • A six-month calendar shows the cadence: group sessions twice a month, a roundtable monthly, private advice every six weeks, one in-person session in month 3.
  • Learn, Plan, Execute as a three-step flow. The $18,000 price sits in its own box with the per-leader math.
  • Navy bottom panel: topics, terms, about Matt, and the QR code to impactboardroom.com.

Impact Boardroom city pilot

1 page · glassrootpartners.com/citynonprofitleaders

What changed

  • The pilot box carries the same six-month calendar as the flyer, with the $18,000 price below it.
  • The six moments sit in a grid. The +$175,000 case reads as before, what Matt did, and the year-one result.
  • Harvard line: "Five years coaching executives at Harvard Business School." PBS: "Former PBS host."
  • Still dated "Pilot · April 2026" in the header, as the original was. Tell me if the date should go.
